About the Founder
Menaka Traders was founded by Akilan, a native of Thandupathu Village in the Tiruchendur region of Tamil Nadu. His family's association with palm products spans generations. His great-grandfather and grandfather, respected landlords, were engaged in the traditional manufacturing of Udangudi Palm Jaggery and earned a reputation for producing authentic, high-quality palm products.
Akilan's wife, Menaka, is from Kurankani Village, where her family also has deep roots in traditional palm jaggery manufacturing. Together, they carry forward a proud family legacy, combining generations of knowledge with modern quality standards to bring authentic palm products to customers across India and international markets.
